T. P. ROBERTS.
A philosopher has said, “Life is a sequence — the logical, far-seeing mind is a cumulative consequence. Men who are wise at forty were not idle at twenty.” This statement finds verification in the life record of T. P. Roberts, wholesale liquor dealer of Creston, who has won success through well defined business industry and energy. Mr. Roberts is a native of Buchanan county, Missouri. Coming to Creston, he engaged with C. W. Rettig in the wholesale liquor business about five years ago. After two years he purchased Mr. Rittig’s interest and became sole proprietor of the business, which is located in the McGrath building and which he has since conducted with large profit and increasing sales. He makes a specialty of Mt. Vernon rye and William J. Lemp beer and his annual sales have now reached an extensive figure.
