The tombstone and grave site of Francis Albert Sinatra, better known as Frank Sinatra. Sinatra was born on December 12, 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey as the only child of Italian immigrants, Natalina Della Garaventa and Saverino Antonio Martino Sinatra. In a career of more than fifty years with many millions of records sold, Frank Sinatra was one of the most recognized voices in the business. Some of his more well known hits include Love and Marriage (1955), Strangers In The Night (1966), That's Life (1966), My Way (1969), Something Stupid (with daughter Nancy Sinatra) 1969, New York, New York (1979) and I've Got You Under My Skin (1993).

Sinatra also had a number of notable performances in film including From Here to Eternity (1953), The Man With The Golden Arm (1955), and The Manchurian Candidate (1962). Sinatra's last film performance was as the voice of the Singing Sword in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988).

Frank Sinatra died after a heart attack on May 14, 1998 at Los Angeles, California. He was 82 years old. His remains are buried in Desert Memorial Park Cemetery, Cathedral City, California. His tombstone is inscribed with his birth name of Francis Albert Sinatra and "The Best Is Yet To Come." His parents, Natalie and Anthony Sinatra are buried next to him.
