An historic panoramic photo of Burial Hill overlooking Plymouth, Massachusetts. Originally, this hill was the site of a fort built by the pilgrims in 1621-1622. This cemetery was established in the 1600's and includes the graves of several pilgrims including William Brewster and William Bradford. Also believed to be buried here in an unmarked grave is Squanto, the Patuxet Indian guide who was helpful to the Pilgrims in surviving the first years after their arrival.
