Atlantic City, New Jersey Hackney's Sea Food Restaurant vintage postcard, historic photo

A vintage postcard view from Hackney's Seafood Restaurant in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Started as a clam shack in 1912, the business grew to be the largest seafood restaurant in the world with a seating capacity of over 3,000 persons. The restaurant building was destroyed by fire in 1963 and was later replaced with a modern, smaller building. The restaurant finally closed and was razed in the 1990's. This vintage postcard view was postmarked in 1943.
