The last photograph of President Abraham Lincoln, March 6, 1865, historic photo

This is believed to be the very last photograph ever taken of President Abraham Lincoln. This photo was taken on the balcony of the White House, on March 6, 1865, just two days after he was sworn in for his second term as president. Less than six weeks later, Lincoln would be assassinated while watching a play at Ford's Theatre on the evening of April 14th, 1865 and dying the following morning, April 15th.
